Today Rilke’s poem is titled Entering, which speaks of leaving a known place and creating a world, yet not trying to fabricate meaning.
This would be something very difficult for me, as my inner editor wakes up in the morning even before I do. I think the only time she’s quiet happens when I am asleep, although perhaps she reigns there too, editing dreams.

What is it,
to enter this unknown
world where nothing
has been interpreted
and where I choose still
to interpret nothing,
to let everything
be what it is
and not what I
want it to be,
to learn how
to let go?
