I am waiting for someone to discover waiting, a new frontier for anxiety.
I am waiting to drop the world, the final withering of wonder,
and for the second religious revival of grapes, God
on the right, a rebirth of waiting to be blessed.
I am waiting for animals to fall like rain in secret,
for storms of music to sound for Alice of the tower.
And I am waiting for arms of immortality, for green mornings
of unpremeditated poem rapture on the Urn of Perpetual Wonder.
