a morning of small cold thoughts
outside the temperature minus 19 C
inside only 17
furnace doesn’t hum his usual tune
brain hums one worry after another
Hope you did not have to wait long! A few years ago we had a sever cold spell for about a week. I had my fireplace going most of that week. It was so bitterly cold that schools were canceled because students couldn’t wait out for even ten minutes for the bus.
Glad yours came back. Mom’s went and when my cousin pushed reset, smoke curled out; the motor burnt out. But by the next day she was up and cozy again.
I hope those worries melt away throughout the day, Carol.
Thanks, Andrea. Me too! Waiting for the serviceman. C

Jules, it was back up and running by noon. The house was down to 15C by then so my fingers were too cold to type! But it’s toasty now! C
